SESTA & OTHER STRANGE STORIES

Edward Lucas White
Edited by Lee Weinstein

This title is out of print.

In a truly major event in the annals of the weird tale, we are pleased to announce the publication of the second volume of the weird tales of Edward Lucas White; a volume that contains over 40,000 words of previously unpublished work!

An unparalleled master of the weird tale, Edward Lucas White's dream-inspired tales of terror were deemed to be of such significance that we selected The House of the Nightmare as the debut volume for Midnight House. Our edition of The House of the Nightmare went out-of-print almost immediately. Due to notes in White's letters, editor Lee Weinstein and I concluded there were possibly additional stories among White's papers. After months of research, Mr. Weinstein had found a substantial trove of stories, most had apparently never been submitted for publication. To round out this volume, we have included his remaining macabre tales from The Song of the Sirens and other sources.

As the publication of a new collection by this legendary master of the weird tale is such a landmark event, we recommend advance orders.

Midnight House is dedicated to the preservation of classic horror and weird fiction in handsome, inexpensive editions. Printings are limited to 450 numbered casebound copies; Sesta and Other Strange Stories features a striking cover by noted artist Allen Koszowski and will be ready for shipping in November of this year. Cover price is $40.00 (dealers please inquire).
